Classic luxury yacht Nahlin in Öresund
Sir James Dyson´s 300 ft (91.4 m) motor yacht Nahlin passed by at noon today on its way to the island of Ven. Unfortunately the light was not ideal, but I hope you can still get an impression of how beautiful this classic yacht is. Nahlin was sailing very close to the Danish coast in Öresund.
"Nahlin is a luxury yacht and one of the last of three large steam yachts constructed in the UK. She was built for Lady Yule, heiress of Sir David Yule, and was launched in 1930.[3] She is owned by British industrial entrepreneur Sir James Dyson, who purchased her from Sir Anthony Bamford, Chairman of JCB.[4][5] The name Nahlin is taken from a Native American word meaning "fleet of foot" and the yacht has a figurehead depicting a Native American wearing a feathered headdress beneath the bowsprit."
