The Temple Mount in Jerusalem in the early 1890s: Four photographs by the Finnish orientalist Knut Tallqvist
The Finnish orientalist Knut Tallqvist visited the Temple Mount in Jerusalem during his field trip to Syria, Palestine and Egypt in 1893 - 1895. Tallqvist's account of the visit was published in the Swedish monthly magazine Ord och Bild in 1897.
