The flagship of the
AIDA fleet,
AIDAsol, this morning at about 07.45 slowly approached
Helsingør/Helsingborg on its way from
Oslo to
Copenhagen. There are cabins for 2192 passengers on the 253 x 36m ship, which was built by the
Meyer shipyard in
Papenburg in 2011. On May 12 AIDAsol´s successor as flagship, the sister ship
AIDAmar, will be christened in
Hamburg, with great festivities.
