day and hour media, politicians, experts - and charlatans - bring us
a never ending barrage of bad things. No wonder that many people feel
depressed and weary.
This blog tries - in a modest and personal way - to contribute to a more
balanced view. After all, there is so much to appreciate and

The Russian icebreaker "Peter the Great" in 1905
This is the brand new icebreaker "Peter the Great", delivered in 1905 to the then Russian city of Riga. The ship was built by Götaverken in Gothenburg.
Icebreaker "Peter the Great" (PETER DER GROSSE - Пётр великий) Scale model. S 1/100 Icebreaker of the Riga Stock Exchange Committee. Launched in 1911 in Gothenburg, Götaverken. In 1914 he was mobilized and included in the Baltic Fleet.
