Rudolf Buchbinder and the Vienna Philharmonic play Beethoven

Rudolf Buchbinder also conducts the orchestra

It is difficult to imagine a more enjoyable musical combination than Beethoven, Buchbinder, the Wiener Philharmoniker and the Musikverein golden hall. This is what you get, when you buy Rudof Buchbinder´s new recording of Beethoven´s five piano concertos, preferably on blu-ray. The sheer beauty and sensitivity of the music making - both by Buchbinder and the orchestra - is breathtaking, and when it all happens in arguably the best and most beautiful concert hall in the world, what more could you wish for?

The golden hall of the Musikverein is a wonderful setting for the music

The members of the Wiener Philharmoniker are, as always, are a joy to listen to

Recently the excellent German/French television channel ARTE broadcast all five concertos. Another proof of ARTE´s high standard of programming.
