Every day and hour media, politicians, experts - and charlatans - bring us a never ending barrage of bad things. No wonder that many people feel depressed and weary. This blog tries - in a modest and personal way - to contribute to a more balanced view. After all, there is so much to appreciate and enjoy in life ...

P&O's classic cruise liner Oriana in the Sound
One of the P&O cruise liners, the M/V Oriana (261 m x 36 m), entered Øresund in the early morning hours today on its way to Copenhagen. The Oriana, which was built in 1995, still has much of the classic style of earlier cruise liners.

Bulk carrier Yasa H. Mehmet on its way to Ventspils
Early this morning the Turkish bulk carrier Yasa H. Mehmet (229 m x 32 m) was going southwards in Øresund. The ship's destination is Ventspils.
