The Finnish Navy´s minelayer Uusimaa in Öresund

This Hämeenmaa class ship can assume a relatively wide selection of roles, from light espionage- and minelayer ship to escort- and anti-submarine warfare ship. The Hämeenmaa class ships are according to Wikipedia "practically perfect for monitoring Russia's Baltic fleet".

Two days ago Uusimaa departed its home port Turku for a six week training mission. The next stop will be in Hamburg, where the ship is also due for some maintenance work.
