The list of tragedies - both personal and public - is endless. Every
day and hour media, politicians, experts - and charlatans - bring us
a never ending barrage of bad things. No wonder that many people feel
depressed and weary.
This blog tries - in a modest and personal way - to contribute to a more
balanced view. After all, there is so much to appreciate and
enjoy in life ...

The classic Swedish Christmas bread
Vörtbröd is the classic Swedish Christmasbread. It is a spiced bread made with rye and wort. Wort is "the liquid extracted from the mashing process during the brewing of beer or whiskey" (Wikipedia).
I normally comment on your blog at Christmas, so here I am again. I do enjoy seeing your photos of life in Sweden, and the beauty in small everyday things and quiet moments.
