Early this morning - at 4 AM - I took this picture of cruise ship AidaDiva in Ă–resund:
Catastrophes, wars, terrorism, ecological disasters, deadly diseases, poverty .... The list of tragedies - both personal and public - is endless. Every day and hour media, politicians, experts - and charlatans - bring us a never ending barrage of bad things. No wonder that many people feel depressed and weary. This blog tries - in a modest and personal way - to contribute to a more balanced view. After all, there is so much to appreciate and enjoy in life ...

Fallpipe vessel Rock Piper
Fallpipe vessel Rock Piper in Ă–resund
"A fallpipe vessel (FPV) is a self-propelled vessel that is equipped with a flexible fallpipe. The vessel's design allows the fallpipe to be lowered into the water beneath the vessel. Uniquely, the fallpipe vessel can position rock with extreme accuracy down to a depth of 1,500 meters. These vessels are highly suited to cover offshore cables and pipelines. They are also used to prepare the seabed for offshore structures and to put in scour protection for offshore wind turbines and platforms." (Ship company´s home page)
