Punishment does not mean flogging or physically abusing the offender, it means making the offender do hard labor, and the suspension or withdrawal of privileges of freedom of movement while serving sentences, or attending public functions like sporting events when released.<br /><br />Some might also say these are the risks inherent in attending such events; to which my response would be that is just a "cop out" in not dealing with the root cause in an appropriate way.<br /><br />This is just so sad and my heart goes out to the family of the victim.<br /><br />John.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
